Health and Safety Orientation

SSMCA Health and Safety Orientation Course

Has your employees Health and Safety Orientation Certificate expired?

While training (or refresher training) is always important, training should always be provided when employees are:

  • transferred to jobs or work areas they are unfamiliar with
  • returning from an extended period away from work
  • who are new to the work force

This Orientation Course is a great way to give a basic safety orientation to your workers. Our Orientation is accepted locally as an equivalent to NORCAT’s Contractor Orientation Program as well as Safe Communities. Please remember that many sectors still require an up to date H&S Orientation course in order to perform work at their business (SSMHC, PUC, ADSB).

We offer this course as often as necessary and attempt to schedule it at a date and time that’s convenient for you.

The Sault Ste. Marie Construction Association brings general contractors, trade contractors, manufacturers and suppliers of construction materials and equipment, as well as other firms associated with the Construction Industry together in a single organization.
