Working at Heights Renewal

Only learners who have previously successfully completed a CPO-approved working at heights training program delivered by a CPO-approved working at heights training provider are eligible to take refresher training. Learners MUST provide proof of CPO approved training to qualify for registration in a refresher course.

When do learners need refresher training?

Learners who wish to ensure that their CPO-approved working at heights training remains valid must successfully complete refresher training within three (3) years of the date that they successfully completed an approved program.

Nonetheless, learners who do not complete refresher training within three (3) years may take it at any time after this three (3) year period to renew its validity. Workers who do not have valid CPO working at heights training will be unable to work at heights on construction projects in Ontario.
