March 18
Course Overview This course provides workers with the basic fall prevention information they require to work safely in areas where they may be exposed to fall hazards. Participants receive the most up-to-date information with hands-on instruction from industry experts and trained adult educators who are experienced in working at heights. While Working at Heights is a great starting point, site-specific training is also required. After the in-class session, the employer must train workers on the specific hazards faced and types of equipment used on the job. Working at Heights certification is valid for three (3) years.

Traffic Control Book 7
Traffic Control Book 7
March 26
Every year workers are injured as a result of traffic-related incidents while performing work in and around public roadways. The Regulations for Construction Projects require employers to have a traffic protection plan in place to ensure that workers are protected. In addition, a specific traffic control plan, designed to protect both workers and road users, must be developed and available. This program assists those responsible for creating, implementing, and/or overseeing traffic control in temporary work areas to develop an effective traffic control plan. Participants are taught using typical layout case studies, Ontario Traffic Manual (OTM) Book 7, and the Regulations for Construction Projects.
